Every En Route escape starts with a conversation. We’ll talk about where you’ve been, where you’re drawn to next, how you like to spend your time, and the details that can completely change the way a trip feels.
You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out. A destination you’ve been thinking about, dates on the calendar, or simply the desire to go somewhere exceptional is more than enough to begin.

After your initial consultation, we begin translating everything we’ve learned into the foundation of your trip. This is where destinations, pacing, hotels, and flow begin to take shape.
We’ll present our recommendations and refine the direction with you before moving into the finer details. Once the foundation feels right, we begin arranging the experiences, reservations, transportation, and thoughtful touches that complete your itinerary.
You’ll always know what stage we’re in and what comes next, while we handle the research and coordination happening behind the scenes.
By the time you leave, every essential detail has been considered, confirmed, and organized in one place.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD I REACH OUT?
For larger international journeys, we recommend reaching out six to nine months before you hope to travel whenever possible. More time gives us greater flexibility with exceptional hotels, private guides, and experiences that may have limited availability. That said, if your dates are closer, reach out anyway. We’re always happy to see what may still be possible.
CAN YOU BOOK JUST MY HOTEL?
Absolutely. If you enjoy planning the rest of your trip but want our expertise when it comes to where you stay, our hotel-only service may be the better fit. We’ll recommend the right property and room category and secure preferred partner amenities whenever available.
HOW INVOLVED WILL I BE IN THE PLANNING?
As involved as you’d like to be. We’ll ask for your input at key points and make sure the direction feels right before moving forward, but you won’t be expected to research hotels, compare endless options, or manage the logistics yourself. That’s what you hired us to do.
DO I NEED TO KNOW EXACTLY WHERE I WANT TO GO?
Not at all. Some clients arrive with a destination, dates, and a very specific vision. Others simply know they have ten days available and want to go somewhere exceptional. We can help you narrow the possibilities based on season, interests, budget, travel style, and the kind of experience you want to have.
